Hosannas was founded on the classic model of biological coincidence. When they both had taken an interest in music, brothers Brandon and Richard Laws quickly found that combining their previously disparate efforts was the only logical path to improve their craft. Though the music they made at that early stage was really not any good, they found almost immediately that it was much better than music made by some other people. The brothers eventually moved to Portland, OR and released their first record (Song Force Crystal, 2009) on Tender Loving Empire. Subsequently a second and third record have been released, Then and Now and Then and Together both available from Hush records. Hosannas are still in Portland, and aim to spend the winter writing and recording a new album.
